E-mail takes too long to respond to, resulting in continuous inbox overflow for those who receive a lot of it.
The solution is to treat all email responses like SMS text messages, using a set number
of sentences.

All my email is centrally managed, meaning all emails end up in the same inbox. I will always keep a list of email addresses where I can be contacted here but please use only one. My college address should only be used for emails regarding college and related subjects. Most mail should be sent to oris@outofreach.co.uk.

Please try not to send me attachments. If possible provide me with a link where I can download the file. I promise to do the same. This speeds up the time taken to download email as well as ensuring I'm working on the correct version of the file.

Please dont forward me chain mail. It clogs up my inbox and is entirely unnecessary.

Please FW mail inline. I access my email from a variety of clients and some have issues with marking attached FW's as spam.

My personal policy is that all email responses regardless of recipient or subject will be five sentences or less. It’s that simple.
